A month or so ago I became an (unpaid) “guest expert” for LEEDuser.com, a great resource for anyone implementing LEED on a project. Portions of the website are paid content, including an overview of each credit in the current LEED 2009 rating systems (all except Homes), a database of resources and links for each credit and even a “documentation toolkit” which includes sample narratives and other documentation for some credits. In addition to the paid content each prerequisite and credit also contains a FREE forum where LEED project teams can ask questions regarding the credits or the applicability of certain credits to certain projects. Each credit forum is overseen by a “guest expert” (such as myself) who has extensive experience on the credit and will try to respond to all forum questions. Other forum members can also respond to questions and often have extremely helpful experience and insight as well.

Whether or not you chose to become a paid member of LEEDuser.com, I think the free forums are an invaluable resource for projects teams and I encourage you to check them out!
